It’s their annual pilgrimage to party in the sun.

So it’s imperative the glamorous stars of The Only Way Is Essex look their absolute best as they shoot the new series in Majorca – especially as they spend most of their time filming in skimpy bikinis.

But looking camera ready in the unforgiving Spanish sunlight doesn’t come cheap, with the show’s female stars splurging on over £10,000 worth of treatments before jetting off.

Big spenders: The TOWIE girls, including Kate Wright (above), spent over £10,000 to get ready for filming The Only Way Is Majorca this month

Relative newcomer Kate Wright has certainly turned heads since heading over to the Med, wearing the skimpiest of bikinis to flaunt her fabulous figure.

In the weeks counting down to the trip, the star under went a week’s stay at a boot camp with a £1,000 price tag, before indulging in teeth whitening, extensions and scarring treatments for £110 a pop.

Meanwhile, stylish Lydia Bright isn’t immune to some serious pampering before the trip – she spent over £1,000 on the best make-up and moisturisers money can buy.

But the real big spenders were Chloe Sims, 33, and popular newcomer Megan McKenna – who spent a combined £3,126 on their pre-Majorca beauty routines.

Chloe’s military style beauty operation included CACI Synergy treatment – a high-tech non-surgical facelift for £120 and micro-current rejuvenation facials.

Meanwhile, Megan blew £1,547 on keeping up her plump pout with £300 lip fillers at First Love Yourself Aesthetics and even ensuring her legs were extra smooth with gold razors for an eye-watering £84.00.

Talking about claims she had work on her body last year, she insisted: ‘The only surgery I’ve had is my lips, I haven’t had anything in my bum – I don’t need to I’ve got a big bum! I take it as a compliment.’

She also insisted that she won’t go under the knife to change her look even more. ‘I like the whole natural vibe,’ she said. ‘I don’t like the fake look.’

Even Chloe Lewis – arguably TOWIE’s most low-maintenance star – underwent treatments to boost her glow, having Skinbreeze facials to reduce blemishes and enjoying a detox juicing spa at Juicy Oasis in Portugal for £820 a week.

Fern McCann – who will have to be camera ready for her new career in acting – opted for a pricey laser Skin treatment for Omniva London for £350, along with extensions and teeth whitening, before the gang’s trip abroad.

However, the star has revealed that it’s down to her pre-break diet that really makes her confident on the beach.

She said: ‘When it comes to a holiday I like to feel body confident in a bikini. It’s such a cliché saying this but “no carbs before Marbs”. I love my carbs but I cut back and eat good carbs and make smarter choices.”

‘I don’t think I could do them. I’m really into juicing, making healthy smoothies and cooking clean and lean.’

The show returns to screens on Sunday night on ITVBe.
