Kiosk Keith is a beloved member of the I’m A Celebrity team, and even has his own Twitter page, which claims: ‘Aussie LAD born and bred. Employee of the month at The Outback Shack. I’m the biggest Celebrity in I’m a Celebrity.’

He is best known for running the camp shop, and delights viewers with his grumpy exterior when stars approach him to collect their prizes for the Dingo Dollar challenges.

Yet, the paper revealed on Tuesday the man who plays Keith is not actually an actor – but in fact a set builder called Raymond, who works with the art team on backdrops for the show.

He helped to create the original set back in 2002, but was scouted by producers to appear in front of the camera nine years later after they saw potential for humour in his moody exterior.

However, his ex-wife Donna revealed Keith is not a full time job, and Raymond is simply called away from his artistic duties when they want to film scenes at the Outback Shack.

She also went on to shock fans by revealing he is not paid any extra for the on-screen role, despite his huge popularity.

Raymond, who has also worked at a newspaper and in the army over the years, started dating Donna in 1994, and they went on to welcome four children together.

However they separated in 2003 – and while she remained quiet on the reason, she admitted he could be ‘verbally abusive’ when drunk, which contributed to their split.

The pair gave their romance another go three years later, but decided soon after to co-parents as friends. They still spend every Christmas together with their children today.
