It’s no secret that human beings love glitter.

Take a look around at any festival and you’ll see grown adults, of all genders, prancing around covered in the stuff.

Dawn O’Porter talks us through what beauty means to her

The never-ending trend has seen us jazzing up our beards, donning glittery undercuts and chowing down on galaxy glitter bagels.

The fools among us have also shoving glitter capsules up our vaginas and rectums. Not recommended, FYI.

We’re even able to send glitter to our enemies in the mail. (Have you ever tried getting glitter out of a carpet? NIGHTMARE.)

But now? Now it’s the turn of the glittery face mask.

Cosmetics brand Too Faced looks set to be releasing a peel-off glitter face mask, if their co-founder Jerrod Blandino’s Instagram is anything to go by.

He posted the above video with the caption: ‘#tfsneakypeek I’m working on something beyond Magical to make your skin Glow! #WeLiveInGlitter#GlitterMakesYouPretty#youveneverseenanythinglikethis ✨#toofaced’.

The short clip shows a model smearing the mask on her face, and then peeling it off – which is epic because it eliminates the absolute worst thing about glitter – its refusal to ever leave your skin.

It also reminds us of this full-face glitter makeup, which clogged our pores just looking at it, but we’re assuming this face mask is in the skincare sector, so will have face-saving qualities.

This isn’t the first shiny mask on the market.

GlamGlow’s Gravity Mud Firming Treatment goes on as a pearlescent white gel-cream, and turns into a metallic silver once it hits your skin.

Keep an eye on Jerrod’s Instagram for news on when you can get your hands on this glittery dream.

Your Instagram will thank you for it. #ThinkOfAllTheLikes
