She’s better known for her philanthropy work and illustrious modelling career.
But Natalia Vodianova, 34, has offered fans a rare insight into her private life in PORTER’s Spring issue, discussing her relationship with her children, the breakdown of her marriage to Justin Portman and finding love again with partner Antoine Arnault.
The Russian star – who raises Lucas, 16, Neva, 10, and Viktor, nine with her ex and Maksim, three, and baby Roman with Antoine – confessed to being ‘military’ about what her family eats.

The former Calvin Klein pin-up, who rose to fame aged just 17, explained: ‘Here’s what I did with my son. At 10, he was frankly getting a little chubby.
‘I said to him, “You cannot sit down with this thing happening to your stomach.” So yes, I am a little military when it comes to them eating c**p…
‘Well I tell them they are gorgeous and beautiful and all those good things, but I tell them to watch what they eat, because those habits will stay for ever, so you need to make healthier choices from the start.’
The beauty queen practices what she preaches since she also restricts her own diet, only allowing herself a cheat day once a week.

She revealed: ‘When I moved to France, for two years I had a pain au chocolat every morning. Finally, I woke up and thought, I truly cannot face another one.
‘So now my daughter and I have half each on a Saturday morning – it’s our ritual. And we’re good with that.’

The keen humanitarian – who set up the Naked Heart Foundation, a philanthropic organisation which aims to help children living in urban Russia and support families raising children with disabilities – also discussed her relationship with ex-husband Justin, saying they have ‘found a good way to be apart’.
Explaining why their marriage broke down, she said: ‘Well I am a very hands-on mother and he [Justin] isn’t hands-on.
‘He loves his children very much, but he probably isn’t going to give them a bath or make sure everyone goes for a walk.
‘He ended up doing things by myself and that was isolating because it is better to share those lovely things…’

Natalia touched upon her romance with Berluti CEO Antoine, revealing they were both surprised when things worked out in their favour.
‘Antoine wasn’t looking for a model to be the mother of his children. And, trust me, I had good reason to be very much put off by “sons of” on my side.
‘So it was as much of a surprise to each of us that it worked out. Life sometimes just goes like that’, she told the magazine.
Despite their union being rock solid, they are in no rush to walk down the aisle.

‘Yes, eventually we [Vodianova and Arnault] might get married but it’s not like I’m keen to throw another party!’, she said.
‘I feel married now already, and when you’ve been there once, maybe it’s not as appealing the next time. Everything works so well as it is, so why change it?’
