She has just penned a book entitled Confidence: The Secret.
But even Katie Piper has suffered a few self doubts over the years, admitting during an appearance on Loose Women on Thursday that she questioned her motherhood abilities after first giving birth two years ago.
‘You can have this amazing confidence and people can bring you back down again,’ she said. ‘I remember having a baby and thinking – “this is a whole new world. I don’t know if I’m really good at this”.’

Ever the professional, Katie posed for pictures holding her new tome outside the studios before heading in for a TV chat with Loose Women Jane Moore, Katie Price, Ruth Langsford and Anne Diamond.
The 33-year-old sported a striped sweater and leather mini-skirt teamed with distinctive butterfly stiletto boots by Sophie Webster, while smokey eyeshadow and pink lipstick completed the look.

The star also discussed how her husband had helped with her confidence levels following the horrific acid attack nine years ago which required her needing multiple surgeries.
‘I always talk about my husband giving me confidence and it wasn’t that I needed a man to feel good about myself,’ she explained. ‘I always see men as a luxury not a necessity.
‘I was confident without him but he enhanced my life and gave me certainty and stability.’

Ruth also quizzed Katie about her admission that she turned to alcohol in some of her darker moments since the attack.
‘I talk about all the things I did turn to,’ she said. ‘The tools I use, exercise, healthy eating and there were some darker things I did turn to.
‘It was nipped in the bud early,’ she added. I’d come so far with so much counselling it would be awful to go so far back on a slippery slope.

‘I think wrongly I’m packaged up as this positive, happy inspirational person and when I was writing the book, I didn’t want it to be a fluffy skim-through read,’ she confided. ‘I wrote it with a consultant psychologist.
I’m most confident at work but if I had to g o to a mother and baby group I would think ‘I don’t know anyone.;
