Vanessa White has admitted she only washed once every three days during her stint in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
The former campmate – who was voted off the show earlier this week – revealed she was so frightened of being bitten by leeches that she cut her showering down to a minimum.
While the shower scenes are often deemed some of the show’s sexiest, the 28-year-old claimed that couldn’t be further from the truth.

‘You don’t want to get bitten!’ Vanessa White has admitted she only washed once every three days during her stint in I’m a Celebrity after claiming that the shower was infested with leeches
She told The Mirror: ‘The shower is not glamorous – it is freezing cold. It is raining and there are leeches all over the floor.
‘You just don’t want to get bitten,’ she said before revealing she went against the wishes of medic Bob, who encouraged everyone to wash once a day.
‘The thought of getting out of your clothes and being wet and then getting rained on and maybe leeched on, is not appealing. So I did go three days without washing half the time.’

Are you having a bath! Fortunately for Vanessa, this year saw the addition of a jungle bathtub, though it had to be powered by another member of the camp
MailOnline has contacted a representative for I’m a Celebrity for comment.
Vanessa’s claims come after Medic Bob revealed that some of the contestants have been experiencing dizzy episodes thanks to their diminished sustenance.
The production team have supposedly been sending in bottles of Lucozade to give campmates such as Georgia Toffolo, Jamie Lomas and Dennis Wise a much needed burst of energy.

Weak: Vanessa – who was voted out two nights ago – told Joel Dommett and Scarlett Moffatt on the spin-off Extra Camp that she could ‘barely walk’ because of how hungry she was at times
According to The Mirror, Medic Bob said: ‘I can’t mention it medically, but there’s been a couple that have had a few dizzy spells and we’ve given them some electrolyte drinks and some glucose.
‘They’re very hungry, really hungry. They’re very hungry at the moment, they haven’t done quite so well at the trials lately.
‘If you could see how much rice and beans they get per person, per day, I think you’d be quite shocked. The little bit of rice is quite tiny and the little bit of beans is quite tiny.’
Detox: The stars have been getting more and more weak as the weeks have gone on
Basic: The camp’s rations of mainly beans and rice rely solely on their performance in the gruelling tasks
