    Glossier launches its first ever fragrance

    It’s been two weeks since cult beauty brand Glossier launched in the UK and irrevocably altered our bathroom shelves.

    Not content with massively shaking up our makeup and skincare routines, now Glossier’s coming for our fragrance, too.

    Do not be alarmed if every beauty product you own is now a shade of millennial pink. This was always going to happen.

    For the first time ever, Glossier is now doing perfume.

    Their debut scent, You, is supposed to be the ‘ultimate personal fragrance’, working with your skin’s natural scent instead of smothering it with anything too heavy.

    We got hold of a sample, and the claims are true. It’s the opposite of overwhelming, somehow managing to smell warm, woody, and clean. It’s tough to describe, but if you know Glossier, it’s what you’d expect – it’s all about being minimal, natural, you but better.

    Or, in less airy fairy terms, You is made up of three base notes – ambrette, ambrox, and musk – and top notes iris root and pink pepper.

    The bottle is, of course, Glossier pink, and free of any extraneous details. The only quirk is an imprint where your finger can rest as you spritz.

    Glossier’s You launches today, 23 October, but we’re waiting to see if it’ll be available in the UK.

    Brace yourselves, as it’ll likely sell fast. The Glossier hype is so real.
