Speaking out: Jessica Szohr, 32, has admitted that she found the accusations ‘shocking’ against her ex Ed Westwick, adding that she’s ‘praying’ that the allegations are ‘untrue’
Speaking to Cosmopolitan, she shared: ‘[I] wasn’t there, for either side, so I can’t say it did or didn’t happen. But I know him well and I’ve known him for years, and I found it shocking.
‘I hope that it’s untrue, but I also feel bad for anyone that’s been in that situation, for the women that have to deal with that, for the situations that are true,’ she said. ‘I don’t know those girls at all, and they could be lovely and awesome and all that.
‘From the Ed I know and working with him for five years and having a friendship through all of that and after, it was shocking. It was shocking.’
The American actress – who has since starred in Kingdom, Shameless and Twin Peaks – revealed that she has spoken to her former flame in the wake of the allegations, admitting that it has been ‘tough on him’.
MailOnline have contacted Ed Westwick’s rep for comment.

While gushing about how ‘lovely’ he is, the Wisconsin native questioned whether the alleged victims could be ‘stretching the truth’ before adding that he hopes the ‘truth will come out’.
Jessica insisted that the situation was ‘unfortunate’ for both sides and admitted that it is ‘hard to speak on behalf of those girls or him’.
Earlier this month, Kristina accused Ed of sexual assault, claiming the star had ‘held [her] down and raped [her]’ after she fell asleep in a bedroom in his house.
The LAPD are now investigating after Cohen, 27, filed a police report at LAPD’s Hollywood precinct alleging that Westwick forcibly held her down and raped her at his Hollywood Hills home in February 2014.
Claims: Earlier this month, Kristina accused Ed of sexual assault, claiming the star had ‘held [her] down and raped [her]’ after she fell asleep in a bedroom in his house
Allegations: Shortly after the claims, Aurélie then alleged a ‘similar’ ordeal happened to her when she visited Ed’s home with her boyfriend at the time, Mark Salling
Cohen claimed she went to the actor’s home for dinner with a producer – who she had briefly dated in 2013 – when Westwick allegedly suggested a threesome. She said she ended up taking a nap in his guest bedroom.
She didn’t name the producer in her Facebook post, but later identified him to the Hollywood Reporter as Kaine Harling.
Shortly after the claims, Aurélie then alleged a ‘similar’ ordeal happened to her when she visited Ed’s home with her boyfriend at the time, Mark Salling.
‘In July 2014, I went through a very similar ordeal with Ed Westwick,’ she wrote, revealing she had Ubered to an apartment he was renting after getting an invite from her friend, who was dating his roommate as first reported by NY Daily News.
‘We all hung out until 5am, sun was starting to rise since it was summer so we all decided to get a few hours of shut eye since we all had events and things to do the next day and there are plenty of bedrooms.
Recounted: The actress, who went by the stage name of Aurelie Marie Cao, described the alleged attack on Facebook
‘And like Kristina, I said no and he pushed me face down and was powerless under his weight,’ she continued. ‘I was wearing a one piece bathing suit that he ripped, I was in complete shock, I am also very tiny.
‘When it was over I got my cellphone and found that the girl that had invited me had left or got kicked out.
Adding: ‘I had terrible service in the estate without access to the wifi and had to get another friend to get me an Uber out of there while Ed was passed out.’
Following the alleged incident, she described what had happened to her then boyfriend Mark – – who last month pled guilty to possessing 50,000 child porn images, and faces up to seven years in jail.
No support: She then claimed she described what had happened to her boyfriend: Glee star Mark Salling
‘When he found out by who he pretended not to know him, then blamed me for it and broke it off with me,’ she said.
‘My other friends and people around me told me it was best not to say anything, to not be “that girl” and that no one would believe me and think I was just out trying to get my 10 seconds of fame.
‘And so I kept quiet and soon got to see and hear how prevalent sexual assault and intimidation goes on in this industry…to the point where I questioned how much I really wanted to be in entertainment as I didn’t see it getting better.’
Since the news broke, Ed has hit back at Cohen’s claims saying he has never met the Ladies Like Us actress and strenuously denying the rape allegations.
Innocence: Westwick strenuously denied the rape allegations in a statement on his social media
Honest: He wrote: ‘It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct
He wrote: ‘It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct.
‘I have absolutely not, and am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible.’
A third woman, Rachel, has since come forward and claimed that Ed had pulled her onto a bed and ‘aggressively groped [her]’ when they were at a party.
She alleged he had tried ‘to kiss me or kind of push me up against the wall’, and although she ‘pushed him off’ each time, she claimed ‘it got worse and he got more handsy’ as the night wore on.
