Facial hair can cover a multitude of sins.
Not only can they look sexy, but they also have benefits like preventing skin cancer, allergies, and providing asthma relief.
So don’t feel bad if you prefer a hairier face to a clean shaven one – it’s a perfectly normal phenomenon (just don’t be a twit about it).
Whether you’re just a fan of facial hair or have a righteous beard yourself, you can now sign up to an unusual dating experience that caters for that preference.
Bearded Attraction is the dating service that lets you judge a man by his beard and decide if you want to go out with him.
Male grooming brand, Mo Bros, is looking for single men and women in the UK to sign up for the quirky service.
The pop-up will run with three separate groups of bearded men and beard-loving singles who are given the opportunity to win a date.
The groups will be split into heterosexual, homosexual and bisexual daters.
Candidates will only be shown the facial hair of each potential partner- and nothing else- but are welcome to look, touch, stroke and if they’re particularly randy, can even smell it to make his/her decision.
The men will be eliminated until the lucky chosen one is left.
Chin straps, goatees, bushy beards and marvellous moustaches are all welcome, so long as facial hair is at least two inches in length.
Keval Dattani, Mo Bro’s co-founder, said: ‘While bearded men tend to be popular with the ladies, we know that sometimes people can need a little helping hand when it comes to dating – especially around Valentine’s Day when it can be lonely for singletons. That’s why we’ve launched the Bearded Attraction pop-up, to do our best to make sure there’s not a ‘Mo Bro’ without a date on the most romantic day of the year!
‘We were overwhelmed by the response to the launch of our Beard Stroking event over Christmas and can’t wait to be the ultimate wingman for our fellow Mo Bros this Valentine’s Day.’
The pop-up dating booth will be at Highcross Leicester 13 February between 11am and 2pm, to allow singletons to find someone just in time for Valentine’s Day.
