If you are lucky enough to have both grown up in the 90s and have generous parents up for giving you whatever absurd chocolate landed in the corner shop, you’ll have experienced the true joy of a Reptar bar.

Yep, we’re talking about that Rugrats themed chocolate bar filled with green goo that turned your tongue the shade of Reptar.

They were sickly sweet, fleeting (I only remember having one), and our parents despised them. But they are 90s nostalgia wrapped in Nickelodeon packaging.

    And now, they’re back.

A store called FYE, which specialises in geekcentric merch and other goodies, confirmed on Twitter that they’re now selling the same Reptar bars we once knew and loved.

Apparently they’re just as you remember, and will still leave you green-tongued and feeling a bit sick. Joyous.

    Now for the bad news.

Reptar bars are only available in FYE stores, not online, and they only have stores in the US.

There are, however, more than 200 stores across the pond, so if you happen to know someone stateside, they’ll probably be close enough to an FYE to pick a few bars up for you.

If you don’t have any American mates and still want a hit of nostalgia, though, you can order Rugrats Reptar cereal online, which apparently has ‘monster flavour in every bite’.

Finally, we can fully retreat back into the warm, safe embrace of the 90s.
